Unlimited Blackjack Rules
There are no special rules when you play at an Unlimited Blackjack table compared to the standard 7 seat Blackjack table.
What you need to know is that Surrender is not allowed in Unlimited Blackack tables so don’t expect to find a table with this rule in place. Other than that, the usual standard rules apply.
If you haven’t come across this type of blackjack table before, then you might be wondering how is it possible to play the same hand as other players. This is where technology comes into play!
- You take a seat on the unlimited blackjack table
- You place your bets and wait for the live dealer to distribute the cards
- The live dealer will give you 2 cards and then you will have a choice to Hit, Stand, Double, Split as usual. Theese are the same cards that all players get!
- You make your decision and the game either resumes for you if you decide to Hit, or your hand is finished if you decide to Stand. But this is the case only for you not all the other players!
- If you decide to stand for example your hand will be finish there. But you might see the dealer handing out more cards, which doesn’t apply to your hand because you chose to Stand. The game resumes for these players that decided to Hit instead of Stand.
So you get the idea. Each player decides how to play the same hand!
Splitting Hands
Some live casino tables (depending on the software provider) will split automatically some pairs and no Surrender option i.e. Ezugi tables. Other tables offer multiple optional splits and the Surrender option i.e. Playtech
Here are the blackjack hands that split automatically and the ones that don’t.
- Pairs of 2’s, 3’s, 6’s, 7’s, 8’s, and aces will be spit automatically
- Pairs of 4’s, 5’s, 9’s, and 10’s are never split.
