Teen Patti is especially popular in India. Whether played socially on Hindu Holy nights like Diwali or Janmashtami or at any of India’s multitude of online casinos, Indians have a long love affair playing and wagering on Teen Patti.
Teen Patti is played with a standard 52 card deck, the object is simply to have the better poker hand. And as is the case with most casino games today, we will have some side bets to go over as well.
So whether you know the game as three card poker, or Brag, or even Flash or Flush, Live Teen Patti is easy to learn, fun to play, and offers some great payouts.
How to Play Teen Patti
Play begins by placing an ante bet and any of the side bets you wish to play. The dealer will deal three cards face up for the player, and three cards face down for herself. Now the player has two options.
The player may, at their discretion, fold the hand, side bets will remain in action, or the player may opt to bet an equal amount to stay in the hand.
The dealer turns over her hand, and the best three-card poker hand wins. Straights beat flushes in three-card poker.
The dealer will need a queen high to qualify. If not, you only get paid even money on your ante bet and push on your play bet. If the dealer has a queen high, and you lose, you lose both bets.
Otherwise, you win both. If you have a Royal Flush, Straight Flush, 3 of a kind, or a straight, you receive an ante bonus regardless of losing.
In Ezugi’s Live Teen Patti, the ante bonus is 5 to 1 for a royal or straight flush, 4 to 1 for a 3 of a kind, and 1 to 1 for a straight.
Live Teen Patti Side Bets
Side bets remain in action even if you fold. They are independent of the ante wager and still pay even if you lose the primary wager.

Strategy for Live Teen Patti

Also, while the side bets offer some sizable payouts, the pair or better bet also has a sizable house advantage of 4.5%.
The 3+3 may seem tempting with that 1000 to 1 royal payout, but with more than an 8% house advantage, you might want to keep this temptation at bay. Or at least only bet a small proportion of your bankroll.
