Smart Live Casino Licence Suspended by the Gambling COMMISSION

smart live suspened 2Smart Live casino, had its licence temporarily suspended by the UK Gambling Commission on the 5th of August 2016.

The reason for the suspension is that the Gambling Commission has decided to commence a review because it suspects that Smart TV Broadcasting Limited is unsuitable to carry on the licensed activities and  suspended the licences pending the conclusion of the review.

According to the latest update from the UK Gambling Commission posted on 12 August 2016:

Smart TV Broadcasting Limited has surrendered its 000-002715-R-103240-011 Combined Remote Operating Licence and its 002715-N-104517-010 General Betting Standard Operating Licence. The associated 033743-R-315214-005 Gambling Software Licence has also been surrendered.

We have made it clear to Smart TV that the surrender of its licences does not prevent the settling of any outstanding winning bets and the return of customer balances. Smart TV has informed us that it is taking action to process payments to customers by means of bank transfer.

We will update our website with any further information

The operator cant accept any new players but existing players can withdraw their balances.

The UK Gambling Commission has reacted and suspended operators licence and at the same time it has made it clear to Smart TV that existing customers should be able to get paid any outstanding balances.

The last time the UK Gambling Commission announced a suspension was for Metro Play Limited, the operators of 666Bet and Metroplay.com. Back then, the company officials were accused of involvement in a money laundering and tax fraud scheme and Metro Play was ordered into compulsory liquidation several months later.

At www.bestuklivecasinos.co.uk we are only listing live casinos that are licenced by the UK Gambling Commission and since Smart Live Gaming’s licence is now suspended we are not listing them on our site anymore and we do not recommend this UK casino.
